The Most Fun Workshop!

My friend and I had such a wonderful time at this first Gather Craft event. What a fun way to spend a Friday evening. I’m already looking forward to the next event. I can see these events really taking off and becoming very popular. The venue was perfect and the light refreshments Michaela provided were great. Michaela did a fantastic job of teaching us the basics of water color painting and then went on to encourage us to get creative. Everything was provided, along with lots of inspiration, for this successful event.

Michaela was so sweet and had the cutest set up for a fun girls night out with sweet treats included. The watercolor was new for us and the cards were such a great idea for painting. We would definitely go back for more!

Water color portraits

I ordered four watercolor portraits from Michaela, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth communication as we worked through ideas, details, and finalizations. Even if there were moments where I may have been confusing or particular, Michaela remained incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the process.

The end result? She created exactly what I wanted. When I gifted one of the portraits to my supervisor on behalf of my team, her reaction was priceless: “This is the coolest gift I’ve ever gotten! I’ll cherish it!” It’s now proudly displayed on her desk for everyone to admire.

One of the portraits was also turned into our 2024 family ornament, which looks stunning on our tree. I even shared it on social media, and our photographer, who took the original photo, loved the artwork so much that they wanted to feature it on their own page!

Michaela’s work is stunning, heartfelt, and truly unique. I’d give the whole experience a 10/10 and wouldn’t hesitate to order more watercolor portraits in the future. Highly recommend!
